Bağbadem Hotel, Bozcaada
Just like you, we are tired of slogans like “Feel like at home while on holiday”, “A wonderful breakfast in a natural place”, “Quiet holiday in the nature” “A charming hotel in Bozcaada, the Aegean paradise”. We only aim to welcome you with joy like when friends come at home, at Bağbadem, a place we created with excitement and dreams, that took time for us to define, between hostel, hotel and farm. Sharing with you nice chats, wonderful foods, collect grapes on the vines, or read a book under an almond tree, speak about a movie, let the children discover and play in a garden they won't want to leave.
We really want you to be able to come and rest here, have good time alone with your beloved, be able to sip a glass of wine on your terrace, staring at the stars while your baby sleeps, that you remember the taste of almond milk and real eggs, the smell of the lavender and of the nature, get friend with the hosts of the next room at the breakfast table: but you shouldn't wait for luxury rooms, landscaped gardens, grass watered the whole day long, swimming pool nor air conditionned. At Bozcaada the sea is cleaner and more clear than any other pool (if it feels cold, even staring at it is enough), the stone vineyard houses are cooled the whole day long by the breeze, the garden and vines surrounding are invitations to imagine.
In this island in the universe, the sky is so beautiful and the milky way so close that the only thing that could scare you is the sound of two hedgehogs passing by, or the owl insisting in standing on the Bağbadem sign at the entrance, the sweet smell of graped during vintage, all we wish is that not only you like Bağbadem, but also you fall in love with this wonderful island and all its colors.
We wish you will find here something different, another dream, a different island and colors, that the soul of Bozcaada will embrace you as it did for us, and be unforgetable.
And the most important, if we ever meet, and if it happened that somt tastes, smells etc... were missing, please forgive us, and tell it to us so that the dream never ends...
